The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism has proposed new standards for tourist business licenses for traders and industry stakeholders including tourists.

The proposals have been submitted by Acting Director of Tourism Department, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Deogratias Md, at a meeting with Tourism Partners in Arusha who has also been attended by Minister of the Ministry Dr. Hamisi Kigwangalla.
In the new proposals, small-scale entrepreneurs in the three-wheel-drive industry have received an opportunity to be recognized where they will be required to pay a 200-dollar license fee equivalent to $ 450,000 / = shillings, unlike earlier where they were forced to pay American dollars 2,000.

For car dealers ranging from four to ten, it has been proposed to pay $ 2,000, 11 to 50 cars worth US $ 3,000, 51 to 100 cars in US $ 10,000 and 100 vehicles and up to $ 15,000.
For merchants who are not 10 to 30 Tanzanians are recommended to pay US $ 10,000, 31 to 100 cars in US $ 15,000 and 101 cars and up to 20,000 USD.
